Keynote speaker is Prof. Henning Friis Poulsen, Director of SOLID at DTU (Technical University Denmark). SOLID is one of the three Danish ”lighthouse” initiatives, which has been chosen to lead Danish research in the field of X-rays and neutrons – not least aimed at integration with the ESS, The European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden.

Technology Specialist Christel Andersson of Tetra Pak will talk about how membership of LINX has benefited and still benefits the company.

Recent member of LINX Association CEO of CHEXS Sonny Massahi, Ph.D., will present his experience as a newcomer to LINX. Chexs develops high-precision X-ray mirrors, which are used by NASA for X-ray telescopes.

And longtime member, Martin Alm, Head of Polymers at Biomodics will talk about how a small and medium-sized enterprises can use LINX. Prior and present experiences.

LINX Association ensures unique cooperation between various universities. Three representatives from three universities will explain how LINX develops and maintains ties to the academic world: Branch Manager Erik Brok, Ph.D., of The University of Copenhagen’s Niels Bohr Institute, Center Manager Maja K. Thomsen, Ph.D., of the University of Aarhus and Senior Executive Research Officer Carsten Gundlach, Ph.D., at DTU.

LINX Association’s CEO Jacob Becker-Christensen will focus on how LINX has not only delivered results, but an actual blueprint for how to establish, lead and manage research funding in big, ambitions public-private partnerships.

Finally, the communications team at LINX will talk about the importance of sharing LINX’ projects and work. They will also share their experience and golden nuggets of advice for media outreach.

Last, but not least, we will ensure your energy throughout the day. We will start the workshop with a quick lunch. Two coffee breaks will offer you opportunities to network with other participants. At the end of the day, we invite you to join us for an early dinner and continued conversations at Café Vivaldi on Axeltorv.
