From the event website: This doctoral-level course will provide an introduction to different neutron imaging modalities based on the theoretical background to the methods and demonstration of their use through real examples. The course will involve a combination of lectures and hands-on (computer-based) exercises with experts in the field from leading neutron imaging facilities. Topics including neutron transmission tomography, tomographic reconstruction and 3D/4D image analysis will be covered, in addition to advanced topics such as scattering-contrast, energy-selective and polarised neutron imaging. Practical aspects relating to planning and preparing neutron imaging experiments will also be discussed. In addition, there will be opportunities to discuss with experts in the field and fellow researchers.
