LINX Workshop 2017

17-12-11 11:00 - 16:00
Confederation of Danish Industry
Address: Confederation of Danish Industry, H. C. Andersens Boulevard 18, DK-1787 Copenhagen V, Denmark

We are very happy to announce LINX workshop where we will present our latest findings in the different focus areas within neutrons and X-rays.

Key note speaker
Professor, 2017 Novo Nordisk Prize recipient and Scientific Director at LINX Poul Nissen from Aarhus University will speak about the use of advanced neutron and X-ray technologies within structural biology.

Focus areas
The different Focus Projects have made some interesting progress and results will be presented within the six focus areas:

  • Colloid materials
  • Drug discovery
  • Sorption of liquids and humidity
  • Fiber structure and dynamics
  • Materials at operating and processing conditions
  • Quality Assurance

Networking
We have planned the event, so you get plenty of time and opportunity to network and discuss with members, project partners and invited guests. The facilities at DI make a perfect framework for contact during lunch and coffee breaks.

The transition to a circular economy requires companies to adopt sustainable and resource-efficient industrial practices. By shifting from the traditional linear "take-make-dispose" model to a circular one that promotes recycling, reusing, and remanufacturing, industries can reduce waste, conserve resources, and minimize environmental impact. A new European project, ReMade@ARI, brings together research infrastructures and service providers in a significant initiative that will assist in this transition.
The workshop will lay out successful cases, new industry engagement models and will host discussion groups on how industry should most efficiently take advantage of the advanced analytical techniques available at Research Infrastructures for materials characterization in EU.

This is a free event but registration is required!
