It is time for a focus workshop within:
Materials at operating and processing conditions on December 3rd, 2020 from 09-11.
Due to covid-19 this focus workshop and the following will be virtual. This workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams.
Understanding the impact of operating and manufacturing parameters (such as high temperatures, thermal gradients, applied currents, humid, aqueous or saline environments, etc.) on materials is critical in determining their stability and shelf-life. In this LINX focus area, various X-ray techniques and specialized diffraction equipment have been developed to enable industry to understand the role and impact that these parameters have on their products, and thereby support mitigation strategies to optimize processing and operation procedures. Highlighted in this webinar will be the exemplary projects that demonstrate the value-adding nature of the X-ray methods used in this focus area for examining materials before, during and after processing, and after prolonged use. Attendees will be invited to participate in an open dialogue about future directions for this important focus area.
The agenda: The final agenda will be sent out to all participants before the webinar.
